UK Pastry Club

UK Pastry Club brings people together to raise the recognition of Pastry in the UK as one of the best in the world.

Our purpose is to raise the awareness of UK Pastry Chefs, the most talented craftsmen over the world. It is also to select and support the candidates who will represent the UK during the World Pastry Cup.

The Club is chaired by Denis Drame MCA, working alongside a committee composed by Michael Kwan, Executive Pastry Chef at The Dorchester London, president of the UK Pastry Team and Anne-Sophie Millon, secretary and promotion manager of the team.

Benoit Blin MCA, Barry Johnson, Martin Chiffers, Florian Poirot, Luke Frost, Jodi Hinds and a representative of all our faithfull sponsors are also part of this committee

Winner European Pastry Cup 2012, 2014 and 2022

Best Sugar Prize of the competition in 2017, Best Sugar Prize and eco-responsibility prize in 2019.

The UK team was part of the Top 7 in 2017 and top 5 in 2019. The best nations automatically qualified to the next grand finale.

The UK Pastry team for 2023 was represented by Michael Kwan, Martin Chiffers, Nicolas Houchet and Denis Drame MCA. After months of intensive training, followed by 10 hours of competition and what felt like endless hours waiting for the Pastry World Cup results – the UK Pastry Team were declared 4th Best Pastry Team in the World.
